How you install or
reinstall your account of Office depends on whether it’s listed under Office
for home or Office for professional below. For example, to install Word
purchased independently, use the instructions for Office for home.
Reinstall Office 2013 after
an Office Setup 2016 elevation
If
you have an Office 365 Home, Personal, or University subscription, you now have
the selection to install Office 2016 or Office 2013 on your PC. You should only
install Office 2013 if you’re having specific compatibility issues with your
Office 2016 upgrade. If you attach to an Exchange 2007 mailbox, you might want
to stay on Microsoft Office Setup 2013 or even uninstall
Office 2016 and reinstall Office 2013. If you have Office 2013 separate apps
that are unsuited with Office setup 2016, you may want to stay on Office 2016 and take benefit of the
Special offer for customers with Office 2016 and Office 2013 standalone

You can create and share documents amid Setup Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 2013 without
disturbing about compatibility issues. If you create a document by an Office
2016 application and you send it to someone who’s using Office 2013, the receiver
can still open and edit the document in the corresponding Office application.
The same is true for documents going from Office 2013 to Office 2016.
If
you didn’t remove Setup Office 2016 before trying to reinstall
Office 2013, you’ll get an error that detects a newer version of Office is installed
on your device. You’ll need to uninstall Office 2016 before you can continue.
The install will happen
in the background. How long it takes depends on your connection. When you see
